Review:

Conveyor Toy Packaging is an Unlimited Pattern Puzzle game released on the Nintendo DSi via the DSiWare service in 2015, as well as being made available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. In this game, players sort penguin toys to match groups of those toys with like-colored boxes.

The presentation here is okay, but far from great. This game uses colorful 2D pixel art for its visuals, which works well. What doesn’t work well is the annoying, extremely repetitive music this game uses. You will want to mute your Nintendo 3DS before too long.

The gameplay here is mostly decent, though you’ll usually find yourself losing when you get a flat line of like-colored toys with no box to match them to, something that can feel frustrating and outside of your ability to control. Also, this game completely lacks any significant sort of options or gameplay modes, you just have the endless mode to play.

Still, while it’s not going to set anyone’s world on fire, Conveyor Toy Packaging is a decent enough color-matching Puzzle game for those looking to add another game in the genre to their Nintendo 3DS lineup for a mere $2. Definitely don’t expect anything extraordinary, though. This game is merely okay.

tl;dr – Conveyor Toy Packaging is a Puzzle game where players match piles of penguin toys to like-colored boxes. The core gameplay is decent, but you’ll often lose due to events that seem beyond your control. Also, this game is sorely lacking game modes and features. But for $2, this may make a decent time-waster for fans of the genre.
