Review:

Breezeblox is a Puzzle game released on PC, mobile devices, and Wii U in 2015. In this game, players roll a group of colorful, cubes around a maze trying to get them to land perfectly on the red ending tiles without falling off the stage.

This game uses simple 3D visuals with a lot of color and some nice rubbery animation for the cubes themselves, with this being backed by a light acoustic guitar theme. It’s nothing even remotely impressive, but I suppose it doesn’t look bad.

The gameplay here is simple, and it works, but I wouldn’t call it very engaging. Getting the blocks to orient themselves in the way you want them to is fiddly work, and often that’s the majority of the puzzle right there. At no point did I feel this was fun, but I suppose it was at least interesting.

If that fills your criteria for a good Puzzle game, then you may find Breezeblox to be worth its small $3 price tag. Personally, this is just not the sort of Puzzle game I enjoy, but I suppose there may be some out there who would like this.

tl;dr – Breezeblox is a Puzzle game where players must roll a block around a maze to get it to an exit without falling off. This is a simple game, but the gameplay is really tedious in a way that’s going to be divisive. I didn’t care for it, but I suppose others out there might. At $3, I suppose it’s not too much of a risk, but I wouldn’t recommend this game.
