Review:

Zomb is a First-Person Shooter with Minecraft-esque voxel style graphics that has you exploring a ruined city while trying to survive hordes of zombies.

This game is damn near unplayable. Your character moves slowly, turns slowly, and apparently can’t even aim up or down, despite that zombies in the game do react differently if you get a headshot. And the gameplay seems to consist of repetitive zombie-shooting and following prompts to nab ammo pickups.

And as is always a risk when doing a voxel-style game, the graphics look very much like a ripoff of every other game done in this art style. Now, I’m not saying that’s what they actually did, but that this game is so devoid of its own distinct identity that at a glance you could easily mistake it for countless other (in some cases, better) games.

Zomb is a game with gameplay that feels incomplete, graphics that feel like they were copied from other games, and it’s being sold on the Switch for a ridiculous $10 when I’m not convinced it’s worth ninety nine cents. Don’t bother with it.

tl;dr – Zomb is a FPS with a voxel art style that looks ugly and plays terribly, with horrible controls and repetitive combat. Don’t.
