Review:

Timberman is an Arcade/Party game that’s about as simple as they come. You are a lumberjack chopping down a tree. You can use one button to chop the left side, and one to chop the right. Chop the tree as fast as you can while avoiding being on the side that branches are when they get down to you. That’s it, I basically just described the whole game to you.

Oh, there’s all sorts of dressing on it. There’s a “campaign” mode where you can gain “experience” to unlock different lumberjack skins, but in the end, this is a pretty simple game.

Visually, it does what it needs to do. It’s cute without being cutesy, retro without looking like crap. It’s… fine.

So that’s Timberman VS, a simple game that’s a decent time-waster if you have friends to play with, but about as deep as a puddle.

tl;dr – Timberman VS is an Arcade/Party Game where you’re using two buttons to chop at the left or right side of a tree while avoiding falling branches. It’s an okay multiplayer time waster, but not much more than that.
