Review:

Super Arcade Soccer is a Soccer game… and I think that’s about everything I can say about it that’s not a negative.

Where do I even begin with this game?

Well, it looks like trash, with low-poly, low-detail characters and environments with poor textures… honestly, they might as well have had stick figures playing the game, at least that would have potentially been visually interesting. This is paired with sounds that are decent but unspectacular… although a lot of it sounds oddly muffled and subdued.

Things don’t get better when we look at the gameplay, which is slow, feels awkward, and keeps forcing the player’s character to switch seemingly at random. After just a few minutes of playing this game, I was so thoroughly disgusted and frustrated that I wanted nothing more than to shut it off. And just to top things off, this game’s menus are broken, with my first play through the game putting me on a world map where the country I was selecting was for some reason situated on the opposite side of the globe where I couldn’t see it until it was selected.

Super Arcade Soccer is quite simply garbage. It looks bad, it plays bad, and even the game’s menus are busted. Do not buy this game.

tl;dr – Super Arcade Soccer is a Soccer game with terrible graphics, busted gameplay, and broken game menus. Do not waste your money on this.
