Review:

Puzzle Bundle: Inbento + Golf Peaks, released on Nintendo Switch in 2022, is a compilation of Inbento, released on Nintendo Switch in 2020, and Golf Peaks, released on Nintendo Switch in 2019.

I have previously reviewed both of these games. Here is what I thought of each of the games in this collection:

tl;dr Inbento is a Puzzle game that has players placing items in a bento box to recreate a photo of a finished layout. This game doesn’t do anything particularly extraordinary to push the genre forward, but what it does do it does very well, with well-designed puzzles and a great presentation. Puzzle fans will find this game well worth its low asking price.
Golf Peaks	Puzzle	1	C
tl;dr Golf Peaks is a Puzzle game where you’re trying to make the right movements to get your ball across varied terrain to the hole. It works well enough, and it has a good presentation, but there’s nothing especially compelling here.

In short, Inbento is clearly the better game of the pair, but Golf Peaks is decent, albeit not especially noteworthy. I should note that these games make for a pretty good pairing too – they’re not so similar that their pairing makes them feel “samey”, but they’re close enough in tone and gameplay that they feel like they fit perfectly together as a package.

Having said that, the only remaining question is one of value, and Puzzle Bundle: Inbento + Golf Peaks fares pretty well in that regard. At $8, it’s $2 under the cost of buying these games separately, and I already praised Inbento in my review of that game for being a great value, so you can look at this as getting Golf Peaks tossed in as well for an extra $3. While Golf Peaks may not have thrilled me, I think that’s a solid deal, and Puzzle Game fans will likely find it well worth the added cost.

As a result, Puzzle Bundle: Inbento + Golf Peaks is a well-priced bundle of the superb Inbento and the decent Golf Peaks. If you’re a Puzzle Game fan, Inbento probably should have already been on your radar, and this package sweetens the deal by tossing in Golf Peaks for just a few dollars more. As a result, I think this package is well worth its price tag.

tl;dr – Puzzle Bundle: Inbento + Golf Peaks is a Compilation containing the two named Puzzle games, and while Inbento is definitely the better game between the two, both are enjoyable in their own right. This bundle also offers a decent value, saving you $2 off the cost of buying both budget-priced games separately. If you’re a Puzzle Game fan on Nintendo Switch looking to add a few inexpensive games to your collection, this package is worth looking into.
