Piczle Colors is a puzzle game that plays differently from the Piczle Lines games. In short, this is Picross with colors – use the numbers at the top and side to deduce what colors go where.

The game plays well enough, although the throwaway story that was in the first Piczle game is back, and now with 3D character models that… don’t really do anything for the gameplay. It’s all fine, but it seems overproduced and superfluous.

Still, the gameplay here is good, and if you enjoy a decent puzzle game, you’ll probably enjoy Piczle Colors.

tl;dr – Piczle Colors is a puzzle game that plays differently than the earlier games in the series – this is basically Picross with colors, where you use the numbers on the top and side to determine where to place colors. It plays okay, although the game feels overproduced for such a simple puzzle game. Worth checking out if you like Picross-style games.
