Review:

Piczle Lines DX Bundle is a compilation of two Numberlink-style Puzzle games released previously on the Nintendo Switch: Piczle Lines DX and Piczle Lines DX: 500 More Puzzles!, both of which I have previously reviewed. Here is what I wrote about them:

tl;dr Piczle Lines DX: 500 More Puzzles!, like Piczle Lines DX, is a Puzzle game that has you connecting dots of the same color with lines of a specified length. It’s simple enough that it’s easy to pick up, and compelling enough to keep you going. This game drops the first game’s story mode in favor of a lot more puzzles and some bonus material, giving it the edge in my book. Worth a look for puzzle fans.

This pairing of games makes perfect sense, as in many respects the second game is just more of the first game. In fact, having the two paired together here helps to shore up in each of them some of the features that they lack but the other game has in greater supply – the first game offers a story mode for those seeking structure, and the second game offers much more puzzles as well as behind-the-scenes materials for those who crave content. Between the two of them, you get pretty much the ideal version of this specific game.

That’s not to say, of course, that the Piczle Lines DX Bundle is the perfect Puzzle game or even the perfect Numberlink Puzzle game, but it’s certainly a solid entry in the genre that makes good use of the strengths of its components to be a greater whole, and for those who haven’t bought these games individually, the $5 savings over buying the pair separately makes this a good value too. If you’re a fan of Numberlink-style Puzzle games, this is an excellent bundle to get.

tl;dr – Piczle Lines DX Bundle is a pair of Numberlink-style Puzzle games with a good amount of content and features, with each of its two games helping to fill in the gaps of the other. Fans of the genre should definitely give it a look.
