Review:

Kid Tripp is an Auto-Runner-style Platformer with simple graphics and an absurdly high difficulty level. The gameplay is a bit reminiscent of this developer’s subsequent work, Miles & Kilo, but more simple.

To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of Auto-Runners on a good day, but Kid Tripp’s absurd difficulty level makes it even less appealing to me. That’s a shame too, because the game’s visuals and sound do a god job of appealing to nostalgia.

If you enjoy Auto-Runner games and like them hard, Kid Tripp may be just what you’re looking for. But for most, this is an exercise in frustration that simply isn’t worth it.

tl;dr – Kid Tripp is an Auto-Runner with a bright, nostalgic presentation and a frustratingly hard difficulty level. Unless you like punishingly difficult Auto-Runners, this game isn’t for you.
