(Note: This game is included in Think or Die Collection Pack, along with Bleep Bloop, Defentron, and The Flea Evolution. It is also included in Zerouno Games Collection Pack 1, along with all of the above games plus Future Aero Racing S Ultra, Green Phoenix, Micro Pico Racers, and Skyland Rush.)
Joe Jump is an Auto-Runner-style Platformer with simple graphics and an absurdly high difficulty level. The gameplay has you making precision jumps to get through the levels, and tossing axes to clear away logs in your way.
There’s really not much here to give people a reason to play this game. It works well enough for a game in its genre, but doesn’t do anything particularly unique or original, and its challenge level is so high that will likely prove a barrier for entry for most players. In addition to this, the graphics seem cookie-cutter generic, and the music is repetitive to a fault.
There’s not much else to say about Joe Jump. It’s about what you’d expect from a game in this genre, nothing more, nothing less. If you want an auto-runner with a high difficulty level and not much else going for it, the low asking price for Joe Jump may be worth your while, but for most, this is a game to avoid.
tl;dr – Joe Jump is an Auto-Runner with a frustratingly hard difficulty level and not much else going for it. Unless you like punishingly difficult Auto-Runners, this game isn’t for you.
