Review:

Agent A is a Graphic Adventure with a stylized look and a James Bond-esque spy theme that has you investigating the lair of a villainous femme fatale.

This game’s presentation is one of its best selling points. It features a clean look that’s somewhat reminiscent of the sort of classic retro style of films like The Incredibles. This presentation combines 2D animated cutscenes with 3D elements in a way that works very well for the game.

As for the gameplay, this is pretty traditional graphic adventure fare, searching the environment for useful items and clues that can help you get past obstacles. There are some pretty standard puzzles here and there, but there are also some really clever and inventive ones, which I won’t spoil here. Suffice it to say, fans of the genre should find this game to meet their expectations.

I’d say that assessment holds true overall here – Agent A is a game that should please fans of graphic adventures. While it doesn’t do anything especially extraordinary or new for the genre, what it does do, it does well, with a good look and theme, and decent puzzles.

tl;dr – Agent A is a Graphic Adventure that has you as a secret agent investigating the lair of a femme fatale. It doesn’t do anything especially new or extraordinary for the genre, but it does feature solid visuals and good puzzles. Well worth a look for fans of the genre.
