Review:

Box Align is a puzzle game where you need to move blocks to match three of the same color until you can clear everything. However, while you can move any block to any location, each move must result in a match or you lose and need to start the puzzle over. There are different types of blocks that act in different ways for added complexity, but for the most part, that’s pretty much it.

The game’s visuals are nice and clean. Nothing super-impressive, but it’s about as nice as you can expect for this sort of game.

Um… and that’s about it. Box Align does what it sets out to do about as well as one could expect. It’s not a revolutionary puzzle game, and not an addictive one, but it works well enough and has a clean look. Puzzle fans may find it worth their while.

tl;dr – Box Align is a puzzle game where you need to move blocks to match three of the same color until you can clear everything, without making moves that do not make a match. It looks good, and plays fine, but isn’t groundbreaking or addictive in any way.

Grade: C+
