Review:

Live Factory is a Puzzle-Platformer released on Nintendo Switch in 2023. This game has players controlling a robot in an post-apocalyptic underground factory setting.

The presentation here is fairly decent, using 3D visuals for the characters and setting. There are some nice little details here too, like little cockroaches scurrying about in the foreground. This is all backed by a pretty forgettable synthesized soundtrack, but I suppose it at least works for the game.

As for that game, the gameplay in Live Factory is pretty standard Puzzle-Platformer fare. Collect keys, step on switches, open doors… nothing you haven’t seen countless times over in other games. It’s all reasonably well-done with good level design, but the actual Platforming is pretty bad, so it sorta’ balances out.

In the end, Live Factory is a decent Puzzle-Platformer, but far from a standout one. It looks good, and even has some good level design, but the platforming is terrible and there’s just not much going on here that’s truly unique. If you’re a fan of Puzzle-Platformers you may like this, but otherwise I don’t think there’s gonna’ be much here for you, and certainly nothing you can’t also find in numerous other games.

tl;dr – Live Factory is a Puzzle-Platformer that has players controlling a robot in an underground factory. This is a decent entry in the genre with a good presentation and decent level design, but the Platforming is pretty bad and overall the game just doesn’t seem to do much that’s truly original or memorable. If you’re a fan of the genre, this may be worth a look, but otherwise it’s not going to be a game that’s likely to interest you.
