Super Glitch Dash is a family-friendly First-Person Auto-Runner released on mobile devices in 2020 and ported to Nintendo Switch in 2021. In this game, players move through a corridor in a futuristic space as it is constructed in front of them, while avoiding obstacles and collecting pickups.

Despite this game’s mobile origins, the presentation is actually pretty decent, with the 3D machines and futuristic landscapes depicted with a good resolution and framerate. It’s nothing technically impressive, mind you, but it’s definitely well above what you might expect from a game like this. These visuals are backed by a decent techno-style soundtrack.

The gameplay here does a few interesting things for the genre, such as having players react to the dangers around them as they’re being built, and also a few cool mechanics like shifting gravity. However, overall this is a pretty standard take on the genre that doesn’t stray too far from the genre’s roots.

Beyond any complaints about Super Glitch Dash not being very ambitious, my only other issue here is that the $10 price tag seems a bit high for how simple a game this is. However, overall those looking for a solid Auto-Runner should find this to be a good representation of the genre.

tl;dr – Super Glitch Dash is a family-friendly First-Person Auto-Runner where players avoiding obstacles and collecting pickups in a futuristic corridor as it is constructed in front of them. This game doesn’t do too much out of the norm for the genre, and its price seems a bit high, but otherwise this is a decent representation of this style of game, and if you’re looking for a decent Auto-Runner this should suffice.
