Review:

Fluffy Milo is a family-friendly character-based Puzzle game released on PC in 2022 and ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2023. This game is in the “Sokoban” style of box-pushing puzzles, with players controlling a cat pushing cartons of milk to specific spots on a checkerboard-style mat.

The presentation here uses simple 3D visuals in various colorful outdoor environments, with Milo himself being just a textured cube (though not in the game’s art). This is backed by a catchy synthesized soundtrack. All in all, nothing extraordinary, but decent enough.

As for the gameplay, this is just Sokoban. There’s nothing extra, no twist or nuance, it’s just pushing boxes to solve puzzles, that’s it. There’s nothing out of the ordinary here – nothing particularly good or bad (though the controls are a tad stiff).

In short, if you’re wanting a cute Sokoban game for $5, Fluffy Milo is that, but don’t expect much more than that.

tl;dr – Fluffy Milo is a family-friendly character-based Puzzle game in the Sokoban style. This game has a cute presentation, but doesn’t really do anything else out of the norm for the genre.

Grade: C
