I seem to have had some very volatile luck with budget Pro-style controllers lately. On the one hand, there was the Ligame Switch Wireless Controller and ECHTPower Wireless Switch Controller, a pair that are easily the “best bang for your buck” when it comes to controllers on Nintendo Switch. On the other hand, there’s the Simgal Wireless Switch Gamepad Controller, and this controller, the Nonbliep Switch Pro Wireless Controller, with these latter two being a pair of controllers that couldn’t even make it through an hour of testing before breaking and becoming completely unusable.

Before this happened, I was ready to give this controller something of a middling review – it’s inexpensive, but it feels cheap, the buttons stick, and it’s lacking extra features like macro buttons and app support. On the other hand, it did wake the Nintendo Switch from sleep, had good gyroscopic motion control, the concave analog sticks are nice, and the wireless connectivity on the PC may well be the best I’ve seen in a Nintendo Switch controller.
However, as I was about to re-sync this controller with my Nintendo Switch again after testing it with PC and Android, the controller abruptly died, its indicator lights remaining dark even when hard-wired to Nintendo Switch or PC and pressing or holding the home button.
Nope. If the controller can’t even last through an hour of normal use before dying, that’s an automatic F from me.
In short, don’t buy the Nonbliep Switch Pro Wireless Controller. If it didn’t last me an hour, I certainly can’t guarantee that it’ll work for you.
tl;dr – The Nonbliep Switch Pro Wireless Controller is an inexpensive controller that feels cheap, and while it has a few nice features, it comes with a lot of flaws, the worst of those being that it died and would not work again within an hour of me using it. Naturally, I cannot possibly recommend that you use this yourself.

Winner:
Worst Hardware (Tie) – This is the first time I have had a tie in these awards, and it is because both of these controllers have the exact same flaw – they stopped working within an hour or two of use. While other pieces of hardware on my list may not have worked properly, there’s at least the possibility that I was using incompatible hardware or software, or that I hadn’t configured things properly – I’m only human, after all. But these two controllers? Just straight-up died not long after I got my hands on them. That’s not user error, that’s not incompatible software or anything, it’s a straight-up hunk of junk that’s going to cost people money and leave them with useless plastic.
