Review:
Cozy Hunt, released in 2025 on Nintendo Switch, is a family-friendly Puzzle Game in the “find the hidden picture style, with players trying to find a dozen or so objects within a static picture, with the game having 40 such pictures.
The 2D artwork in this game is cartoony and colorful, nothing especially fantastic but not bad either. This is joined by some nice-sounding but highly-repetitive music in the background that you may tire of before too long.
The gameplay here is fairly typical of “find the hidden object” games except… well, the objects aren’t exactly all that hidden. Unlike many games of this type, it doesn’t try to hide the objects, but instead simply makes the scene busy-looking with a lot to parse to find the objects. It starts out exceedingly easy but does get more difficult in later levels. However, I don’t think there’s any question that this is clearly a game meant for young children.
In that respect, Cozy Hunt is fine. Not great, not bad, but fine. If you’re looking for a hidden object Puzzle game to keep your kid busy, this will suffice. But don’t expect anything more than that.
tl;dr – Cozy Hunt is a family-friendly “find the hidden objects”-style Puzzle game that’s clearly intended for young children. To that end, it gets the job done, but isn’t anything special or noteworthy.
