Review:

Tiny Lands & Not Not – A Brain Buster, released on Nintendo Switch in 2025, is a Compilation containing the two named games, both previously released on Nintendo Switch in 2021 and 2019, respectively.

I have separately reviewed these games. Here is what I thought of each of the games in this collection:

Not Not – A Brain BusterMental Exercise1-4 Competitive (Local)C-
tl;drNot Not is a Mental Exercise game where you’re following commands as a timer ticks down. It’s not really fun or especially noteworthy in any way.
Tiny LandsPuzzle1C+
tl;drTiny Lands is a family-friendly “spot the differences”-style Puzzle game where players scrutinize pairs of 3D dioramas looking for differences. The graphics are somewhat simple, but the sound design is wonderfully calm and relaxing. The camera is not as interactive as one would like, but it’s sufficient. Beyond that… this is a decent but largely unremarkable “spot the differences” game.

In short, neither of these games are exceptional, though Tiny Lands at least is decent if somewhat unspectacular. Honestly, this is kinda’ an odd pairing of games, as one is slow-paced and contemplative while the other is fast-paced and bizarre.

Anyway, as I tend to do in my reviews of bundles, let’s have a look at the value on offer here. Separately, these games would cost $8.50, while the bundle sells for $7.50, saving those who buy it a whole dollar. Of course, this is one of those situations where both the individual games and the bundle regularly drop to $2 during regular sales, so in those cases this is kinda’ like a “buy one, get one free” sorta’ deal. Which is decent enough I suppose, though hardly exciting when neither of these are particularly good games.

In the end, Tiny Lands & Not Not – A Brain Buster is a bundle of two okay games at an okay price. There’s nothing here truly worth celebrating, but if you had a desire to get either of these games, I suppose you might as well wait until this bundle goes on sale and get an extra game tossed in with it. If that doesn’t sound like a glowing recommendation, it’s because it isn’t, but I can see some value here, I suppose.

tl;dr – Tiny Lands & Not Not – A Brain Buster is a Compilation containing the two named games, both different types of games and neither of them especially good games, in a bundle that’s not an especially good value. If you’re already planning to get either game, you might as well get this bundle when it goes on sale to get the other tossed in with it, but there’s nothing here that I would say is truly outstanding.
