The Ejgame Wall Mount Bracket is a Wall Mount designed to let users mount their Nintendo Switch 2 Dock on a wall, ideally saving space while keeping the Nintendo Switch 2 secured.

To accomodate the air flow needs of the dock, this wall mount has plenty of holes on the bottom to ensure proper air flow. There are some holes on the back too, except… well, with this wall mount mounted to a wall, those holes won’t actually go anywhere, and won’t provide proper air flow. I’m not sure yet whether or not this will be an issue, and I guess it really depends how much the Nintendo Switch 2 depends on air flow from the back in addition to the bottom. I suppose if the foam padding you insert into the dock acted as a spacer, that could create the air flow it would be blocking off, but… well, I’m getting ahead of myself here…

This is fairly easy to assemble and install – other than the self-adhesive foam padding you need to insert inside the wall mount, there’s another self-adhesive foam padding front piece you need to stick to the front – this latter piece provides slots for storing six Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 game cartridges (they’re the same size, so this should work with either). There are also small hooks on either side for hanging Joy-Con straps.

That’s about all there is to this – you just screw it into the wall (using three screws, and this mount comes with a fourth just in case), after attaching the two foam pieces and you’re good to go.

So apart from the potential airflow issue, what’s the problem?

As you can see in the image above, this wall mount is far too big for the Nintendo Switch 2 Dock. The dock does not fit snugly in the wall mount, and in fact it can move around quite a bit. This means that the dock could easily get nudged off of the mount, potentially damaging your Nintendo Switch 2 (and possibly whatever is attached to it and underneath it).

I suppose if you’re careful, the Ejgame Wall Mount Bracket can still act as a wall mount – after all, the Nintendo Switch 2 does fit on it. However, I would strongly suggest you find another wall mount that isn’t about to risk your dock falling off.

tl;dr – The Ejgame Wall Mount Bracket is a Wall Mount for the Nintendo Switch 2 Dock that may not have ideal air flow, and is in fact too big for the Nintendo Switch 2 Dock, leading to it jostling around and potentially falling off. Find another alternative, this one isn’t safe for your expensive equipment.
