The ProCase Slim Soft Carrying Case, elsewhere referred to as the ProCase Slim Carrying Case and the ProCase Slim-Fit Armor, is a smaller-sized carrying case for the Nintendo Switch 2.

ProCase’s case looks similar in many ways to Nintendo Switch cases. The material being used here is described as EVA, but it feels like a stiff polyester, which doesn’t seem especially sturdy, but it’s fairly firm and has a bit of extra room above the screen and game cartridge flap, and while this means that it is arguably bigger than what is necessary, especially for a slim case, this added space makes it harder to squish or impact the case in a way that could damage the screen.

The exterior has a simple adjustable carrying strap, and both the front and the back of the case have bumps at either side to contain the analog sticks in the front and the extended ZL and ZR buttons of the expanded Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Cons on the back.

Meanwhile, the inside contains a firm fabric flap with twelve slots for game cartridges, and underneath there’s a velcro strap to enclose the Nintendo Switch 2 and keep it firmly in place so it doesn’t jostle inside the case, with another strap above the Nintendo Switch 2 to help remove it from the case, since it fits pretty snugly inside, and otherwise it would be a bit too difficult to get it out without deforming the case.

Overall, while I still wouldn’t trust this case to take a serious impact, I feel like if you’re looking for a slim case that might be more likely to keep your Nintendo Switch 2 safe than some other slim cases on the market, at the expense of a bit of extra size, this seems like a good choice. Overall, I don’t really have any major complaints here – this is a good case.

tl;dr – The ProCase Slim Soft Carrying Case is a small-size storage case for Nintendo Switch 2 that’s just big enough to carry your Nintendo Switch 2 and 12 game cartridges and provide a moderate level of protection, and that’s about it. This case has a little extra space for a bit of added protection, and while this makes this not quite as slim as some other smaller cases, some might feel the added buffer to protect the screen is worth the trade-off. All in all, this is a pretty good smaller-sized carrying case.

Grade: B+
