Sausage Bundle: Till the Last Drop of Ketchup, released on Nintendo Switch in 2022 and ported to PlayStation 4 in 2023, is a Compilation containing two silly sausage-themed games, both previously released on Nintendo Switch in 2022.

I have separately reviewed these games. Here is what I thought of each of the games in this collection:

GameGenre# of PlayersScore
Run Sausage Run!Auto-Runner1-8 Competitive (Local)C
tl;drRun Sausage Run! is a side-scrolling Auto-Runner where players try to get an anthropomorphic sausage to safety. This game has one good idea, and that is that one button does two things – it speeds you up and makes you duck underneath high obstacles. Unfortunately, it does nothing with this gimmick, and in fact the randomized levels lack any kind of structure at all. This isn’t a terrible game, but it’s not a very good one either.
Sausage WarsArcade / Party Game1-4 Competitive (Local Split-Screen)C+
tl;drSausage Wars is an Arcade-style Party game where players take the role of anthropomorphic sausages trying to whack each other off the stage or into hazards. There’s some good visceral fun to be had here, but the gameplay is too repetitive and has far too many issues to make this last long before your party wants to move on to other things.

In short, neither of these games are exceptional, though I think both can be enjoyable in short bursts (Sausage Wars more than Run Sausage Run!). Both of these were originally released as mobile games, and it kinda’ shows.

Okay, but what about value? Well, separately, these games would cost a collective total of $10, and the bundle costs $6, which is actually a pretty good deal, comparatively. Looking at sale prices, both the individual games and the bundle drop down to $2 almost every month, which means that getting the bundle on sale is like getting one game free when you buy the other – again, not a bad deal! Of course, I should also note the Best Mobile Games 5-in-1 bundle, which includes both of these games along with three others, though that costs a little more, so whether that’s worth it to you will depend on whether the other games in that bundle interest you.

However, overall Sausage Bundle: Till the Last Drop of Ketchup is a pretty good bundle with two “okay” games. I wouldn’t go as far as to recommend this because neither of the included games is all that great, but if you’re considering getting either of the two included games here, this bundle is definitely a better way to go than just buying the games on their own.

tl;dr – Sausage Bundle: Till the Last Drop of Ketchup is a Compilation containing two silly sausage-themed games, Run Sausage Run! and Sausage Wars. Neither of these games is exceptional, though they can both be enjoyable in short bursts, and this bundle is a decent value compared to buying the games on their own. I wouldn’t go so far as to recommend this, but I could see some players feeling they got their money’s worth out of this.

Grade: C+
