Review:
Ringo’s Roundup is a family-friendly Puzzle game released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2025, with gameplay that has players placing arrows down on the ground to guide a car, with the goal being to guide the car to all pieces of mail on the ground and then to a final mailbox.
The presentation here is really adorable, making use of simple cartoony 3D visuals that have plenty of personality, with these visuals backed by a relaxed synthesized soundtrack that does a good job fitting the game’s laid-back gameplay.
Speaking of that gameplay, this game doesn’t stray too far from other games that use this core premise of putting arrows down for characters to follow, but it’s still fairly well-done, with some clever level design, and players need to keep in mind that arrows disappear after one use when planning multiple trips over the same pathway.
When it comes to complaints, I think the isometric view makes the controls a bit awkward at time when you want to get the cursor to a specific spot, and this game doesn’t support touchscreen controls either. And I have to knock this game’s standard price of $10 on Nintendo Switch for being twice as expensive as the price this game is selling for on other platforms, though to be fair this game does regularly go on sale for $2.
As long as you do get this game on sale, I think it’s well worth that price. Ringo’s Roundup doesn’t do anything new or revolutionary in the Puzzle game space, but what it does is done well, with polish and good game design. if you enjoy this genre, I think this is a game worth checking out.
tl;dr – Ringo’s Roundup is a family-friendly Puzzle game where players place down arrows to control the path of a car that needs to collect a bunch of mail before delivering it to a mailbox. This game doesn’t do anything truly unique or original, but what it does is polished, well-designed, and with a good presentation. The standard price is a bit high for what’s on offer, but if you can get it on sale this is definitely worth picking up for Puzzle game fans.
