The Puummpru Carrying Case is a small-sized pouch-style carrying case for the Nintendo Switch 2, and it holds the distinction of not only being the smallest carrying case for Nintendo Switch 2 that I have reviewed thus far, but also possibly the most low-tech videogame accessory I’ve reviewed, with construction that feels like a handmade craft rather than anything mass-produced.
Amazon’s sales page doesn’t say exactly what material this is made from, but it honestly feels like a thick felt fabric, held together by a small elastic band wrapped around a button. If I didn’t already know better and you told me this case was sold on Etsy and not on Amazon, I would instantly believe you.

The case itself doesn’t look quite like the image on Amazon’s page. For one thing, there’s a facsimile of a large Nintendo Switch 2 logo imprinted on the front, though the font isn’t quite right, clearly revealing this as an unlicensed product. Despite the fabric construction, this still feels like it will be reasonably protective against minor scratches and bumps, though I wouldn’t trust it to protect a Nintendo Switch 2 against a larger impact.

Opening the case reveals a pocket for the Nintendo Switch 2 to fit in, an additional pocket that seems like it would only be thick enough to fit some cables or a bit of paper, and five sewed-in pockets for Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 game cartridges. Unfortunately, these pockets are overly-large, and it’s easy for a game to slip into one of these and be a pain to extract again.
Finally, I should address the price. At $18, this seems a bit pricey for something that really seems like you could put it together yourself with a sewing machine and a few bucks of material you got from a craft store.
Is the Puummpru Carrying Case a bad case? Certainly not. But it looks and feels cheap, much cheaper than it actually is. And even if you find this sort of quaint construction charming, it still feels like parts like the game cartridge slots could have been improved here. If you’re looking for a slim, inexpensive case for your Nintendo Switch 2, you could do worse than this case, but I feel like you could also do much better.
tl;dr – The Puummpru Carrying Case is a small-size storage case for Nintendo Switch 2 that’s just big enough to carry your Nintendo Switch 2, 5 game cartridges, and maybe a few cables. While this is functional, the cheap construction is far from impressive, and doesn’t seem worth the price. Plus, the game card slots are poorly-designed. Overall this isn’t a bad case, but it’s far from a great one.
