Review:

Space Hole, released in 2025 on PC and Nintendo Switch, is an Arcade-style game that has you piloting a spacecraft to collect dots to return them back to the titular “space hole” while avoiding enemies.

This game uses simple 2D visuals with mostly simple shapes, backed by an appropriately spacey new age-style soundtrack that works for the game, but feels lacking in personality.

As for the gameplay, there’s not much here. Grab dots, return them to the space hole, wash rinse repeat. There are enemies to dodge, but for the most part this gameplay is simple and repetitive in a way that gets old very quickly.

Is there enough entertainment in Space Hole to be worth the game’s $1 price tag? Eh, I don’t know… but I definitely feel like you’re better off putting that $1 toward a game that’s actually good rather than a mediocre time-waster. I recommend doing that instead.

tl;dr – Space Hole is an Arcade-style game that has players dodging enemies as they collect dots and bring them to the titular space hole. The gameplay here is simple and repetitive, and even with a low $1 price tag I can’t really recommend a game that you’ll get bored of within minutes.
