Motorbikes Pro 2025 is an Arcade-style Motorcycle Racing game released on Nintendo Switch in 2025, and given that this game comes from Baltoro Minis, the makers of Go Kart Mania, Real Drift Racing, and Buggy Off-Road Racing, I do hope you’ll forgive me for not exactly having high expectations for this one. However, credit where it’s due, Motorbikes Pro 2025 is probably this developer’s best Racing Game yet… even if that isn’t exactly a high bar to cross.

To be absolutely clear, this is very much an Arcade-style experience – don’t expect anything even remotely resembling the Simulation-style gameplay of games like the MotoGP, TT Isle of Man, or Monster Energy Supercross games. The controls here are extremely simple – accelerate, brake, and turn, that’s it. And you needn’t worry about falling off your bike either, so long as you don’t hit a wall too hard, or pay too close attention to the surface you’re driving on.

Despite this simplicity and lack of depth, Motorbikes Pro 2025 still has some challenge to it, really pushing players to make measured use of their breaks for tight corners, and while the first race was a cakewalk that saw the computer-controlled competitors eating my dust, later races were much closer.

The presentation here is pretty good too, though again quite simple. The 3D visuals aren’t super-detailed or complex, the animations nothing special, and I did notice some aliasing, but on the bright side the framerates were consistently smooth and there’s a good sense of speed, and while this game isn’t likely to impress anyone with its visuals, I do think it’s impressive that they managed to fit this game in 351MB of storage space. Plus, the game’s fast-paced techno soundtrack is surprisingly catchy. Though when it comes to sound, I do think this game needed more polish, as the motorcycle sounds aren’t convincing, and there’s no collision sound when you hit a wall.

While I was overall surprised at how decent this game was, there are a few major issues I have with it. The first one right from the start is a lack of multiplayer, as well as an overall lack of modes and content – most notably, the fact that there are only six courses to race on here. This would be somewhat forgivable if this was a budget title, but at $13 this game feels pretty overpriced. I suppose I should note that this is one of those games that’s sure to regularly go on sale for $2 and the $13 price tag is undoubtedly just to make that price seem like a better deal, but I don’t cut publishers slack for sleazy pricing tricks like that.

However, yes, if you get this game on sale for $2, I do think you’ll be getting more than your money’s worth. This game doesn’t have the depth of many other Racing Games on Nintendo Switch, and is sorely lacking content, but despite this, it is an enjoyable Racing game… just not for $13. Don’t waste money buying this at full-price.

tl;dr – Motorbikes Pro 2025 is a very simple Arcade-style Motorcycle Racing game, and it’s lacking content and multiplayer. Yet despite these flaws, this is still an enjoyable entry in the genre. Just don’t buy this at full price – it may be worth getting when it goes on sale, but not for the standard $13 price it normally sells for.

Grade: C+
