Review:

Suicide Guy Bundle, released in 2025 on Nintendo Switch, is a Compilation of the original three games in the Suicide Guy series, all First-Person Puzzle-Platformers.

I have previously separately reviewed these games. Here is what I thought of each of the games in this collection:

GameGenre# of PlayersScore
Suicide GuyFirst-Person Puzzle-Platformer1C-
tl;drSuicide Guy is a First-Person Puzzle-Platformer where players take the role of a guy trying to wake himself by committing suicide in his various dreams. There are some fun puzzle ideas here and a good amount of personality, but unfortunately the game suffers from massive performance issues, and has some absolutely miserable platforming. There are multiple better options in this genre, so go for one of those instead.
Suicide Guy: Sleepin’ DeeplyFirst-Person Puzzle-Platformer1C-
tl;drSuicide Guy: Sleepin’ Deeply, like the first game in the series, is a First-Person Puzzle-Platformer where players take the role of a guy trying to wake himself by committing suicide in his various dreams. As with the prior game, there are some fun puzzle ideas here and a good amount of personality, but unfortunately the game suffers from massive performance issues, and has some absolutely miserable platforming. There are multiple better options in this genre, so go for one of those instead.
Suicide Guy: Lost DreamsFirst-Person Puzzle-Platformer1D+
tl;drSuicide Guy: Lost Dreams, like the previous games in the series, is a First-Person Puzzle-Platformer where players take the role of a guy trying to wake himself by committing suicide in his various dreams. As with the prior games, there are some fun puzzle ideas here and a good amount of personality, but unfortunately the game suffers from massive performance issues, has some absolutely miserable platforming, and the puzzle design is frustratingly unclear. There are multiple better options in this genre, so go for one of those instead.

In short, I don’t think any of these are especially good games. The core concept is good – you’re dreaming and trying to find a way to off yourself in the dream so you can wake up. The problem is that the way to do this is unclear, making gameplay extremely frustrating as you try to figure out what the game wants from you.

Okay, but even if the games aren’t great, maybe this bundle provides a good enough value to make up for that? Well, let’s have a look. Buying the individual games on their own would cost a total of $22, and this bundle costs… $20. Yeah, I’m going to say $2 isn’t an especially great savings. But it gets worse – Suicide Guy Collection, which contains the first two games, sells for $11, meaning that you can pick up that bundle and add the final $8 game for a total of $19. And just to drive the point home, each of the individual games regularly goes on sale for $2 each, while this bundle’s sale price is $10.

So that’s three bad-to-mediocre games in a bundle that is a bad deal. Need I say more? Don’t buy Suicide Guy Bundle.

tl;dr – Suicide Guy Bundle is a Compilation containing Suicide Guy, Suicide Guy: Sleepin’ Deeply, and Suicide Guy: Lost Dreams, a trio of First-Person Puzzle Platformers that are all mediocre at best due to poor signposting and poor puzzle design. However, even if that wasn’t the case, this is a bad deal, costing more than other ways you can get these games. If you even want these three games, you have better ways to do so.

Grade: D
