Cats Puzzle is a family-friendly sliding tile-style Puzzle game released in 2022 on Nintendo Switch. In this game, players solve 20 puzzles with increasingly more tiles, all featuring cats.

While art is subjective, in my own subjective opinion, this game’s 2D artwork is absolutely terrible, backed by upbeat but forgettable music. Nothing about the presentation is appealing or impressive, and there are even odd loading times.

At the absolutely absurd standard price of $10, it seems like this might be one of those “make it seem like a deal by overpricing it and then giving it huge discounts” sort of games, but actually I think this game was created to pad out publisher Game Nacional’s bundles to make their number of games look bigger, even if the game in question is pretty terrible. And it is. Terrible, I mean.

And… that’s really all there is to say here. There’s no hint feature, no variety, no spin on the formula. To its credit, the game does support the touchscreen and have a timer, but that’s it. Otherwise, Cats Puzzle is a bog-standard sliding tile Puzzle game with ugly art, overpriced and doing only just barely enough to make this technically a functional game. Don’t buy it, and don’t be convinced to get a bundle because this game is in it.

tl;dr – Cats Puzzle is a sliding tile-style Puzzle with terrible art and an absurdly bloated price tag. Don’t buy it.
