FPS Bullet Storm (not to be confused with BulletStorm) is a First-Person Shooter released in 2025 on Nintendo Switch, bearing a generic modern military theme and lacking any sort of plot. You’re shooting people, they’re shooting them, that’s all you really need to know.
The graphics here use pretty generic sub-par 3D visuals that suffer from frequent slowdown despite that there’s nothing impressive here to cause it, as well as ugly aliasing. Oh, and the walking animation looks like everyone has a bad case of hemorrhoids and is walking carefully due to the pain. Anyway, joining these visuals are some unconvincing gun sounds and absolutely no music.
FPS Bullet Storm is set up like a multiplayer-focused First-Person Shooter, despite that this game does not include any sort of multiplayer. What’s more, even if it were a multiplayer game, there’s nearly zero options to select here. You really only have four relatively small maps to choose from, the first of which is literally just one hallway that would take you twenty seconds to walk from one end to the other.
I should note that this is a generous description, because all movement in this game is dreadfully slow. You move slowly, enemies move slowly, there’s no run button, and it makes the game’s pacing dreadfully dull.
Oh, “enemies” is rather generous too – of the three maps, three of them have you fighting 1v1 against a computer-controlled player in a deathmatch where your opponent will always respawn in the same spot, with the remaining 1 map being a 4v4 team deathmatch, where enemies and allies always respawn in the same spots.
Also, you’ll only ever be shooting with an assault rifle. You have a knife too, but you’ll never have cause to use it, since you’ll be too slow to walk up to enemies and the rifle will work better anyway. Unlike you, enemies will also have grenades, which don’t indicate when they’re thrown so they’ll often result in a surprise 1-hit kill when you don’t even know they’re there. However, to your advantage there are health and ammo pickups that never disappear, so you can just park yourself right next to them and keep reusing them.
All of this is to say that FPS Bullet Storm is an absolutely abysmal First-Person Shooter, with bad graphics, terrible gameplay, dumb game design, extremely lacking content and options, and no multiplayer even though the game is designed like a multiplayer-focused game. You have multiple free options that are way better than this, so why would you waste $20 for this? Of course, this game seems designed to pad out Game Nacional’s numerous bundles to make them seem like they have a wider variety of games… but trust me when I say it adds no value. Keep away from this stinker.
tl;dr – FPS Bullet Storm is an absolutely terrible First-Person Shooter designed like a multiplayer-focused game with no multiplayer, very little content, lacking options, ugly visuals and performance, and absolutely terrible gameplay. The Nintendo Switch has multiple free games that are far better than this. Do not waste money on this trash.
