List of North American Retail Release Games that Require a Large Digital Download

On eShopperReviews we like our digital games, but at the same time we appreciate that many prefer to get their games in physical format. With this being the case, we know it’s frustrating when game companies release a game to retail with no cartridge at all, but a download code instead. Conversely, it’s possibly even worse when games released to retail require such a massive download that it defeats the purpose of getting a physical cartridge!

As such, and with the help of Redditors on r/NintendoSwitch, we’ve compiled a list of games where, even if you get the physical retail release, you’ll still be downloading a significant amount to your memory card. This way, hopefully you’ll be better able to make an informed buying decision when getting a game on the Switch.
