The reader reasoned that now that they were packing some heat, they might have better luck getting booze without ID. “I’ll have a beer”, the reader said firmly to the bartender, the feeling of cold steel at their hip lending them all the courage they needed. Gritting his teeth, the bartender slowly replied, “do you have any ID?”

Holding up the gun, the reader replied, “this is all the ID I need.”

Suddenly, the reader was tackled to the ground from the side by a police officer who had been peacefully drinking in the bar until he saw you draw a weapon. He proceeded to read the Miranda rights to the reader as he relieved them of their weapon and locked handcuffs on their wrists.

Oh, reader, I’m so terribly disappointed in you. You get a gun and suddenly you think you can get away with anything? At the very least you didn’t hurt anyone but yourself with your poor decision-making.
