Orwell Bundle is a Compilation released in 2026 on Nintendo Switch, containing the first two games in the Orwell series, released separately on Nintendo Switch in 2026.

I have separately reviewed these games. Here is what I thought of each of the games in this collection:

tl;dr Orwell: Keeping an Eye On You combines Graphic Adventure, Visual Novel, and Simulation elements in a story that has players taking a role as an investigator working for a dystopian surveillance state. The themes and plot here are quite good, but the clunky interface and incredibly poor signposting make for an execution that’s often far too frustrating. Unless you have a huge interest in this game’s themes, I’d argue you’re better off with one of multiple better detective games on Nintendo Switch.
Orwell: Ignorance is Strength	Graphic Adventure / Visual Novel / Simulation	1	C
tl;dr Orwell: Ignorance is Strength is the follow-up to Orwell: Keeping an Eye on You, and once again combines Graphic Adventure, Visual Novel, and Simulation elements in a story that has players taking a role as an investigator working for a dystopian surveillance state. The themes and plot here are quite good, but the clunky interface and incredibly poor signposting make for an execution that’s often far too frustrating. Unless you have a huge interest in this game’s themes, I’d argue you’re better off with one of multiple better detective games on Nintendo Switch.

In short, both games are similar in story and content, taking place within a not-too-distant dystopian surveillance state where players take the role of an investigator working for the state, using both publicly-available information as well as hacking into individuals’ phone and computer accounts to eavesdrop on private conversations. The theming and story in both games are great, but they suffer from frustrating interface issues and lack of proper signposting that leave you flailing around trying to figure out what you need to be doing.

When it comes to the question of value, the individual games both sell for $10 each, with this bundle selling for $15, making it a good savings over getting both games on their own. Looking at sale prices, both games have gone on sale for as low as $6 each on Nintendo Switch as of this writing, with the bundle going down to $11. Still a discount, but not quite as much of one.

In the end, if you enjoy detective games and think it would be interesting to play an investigator working for a high-tech surveillance state, you may find the Orwell Collection to be worth a look, though I would argue that you do have better options for detective games on Nintendo Switch.
