Kamikaze Strike:FPV Drone is a Combat Flight Simulator released in 2025 on PC and ported in 2026 to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. In this game, players pilot a series of remote-controlled drones equipped with explosives trying to take out targets by flying the drones into those targets.

This game’s presentation is pretty unimpressive, with unimpressive 3D environments with some pretty ugly textures in places, backed by a militaristic soundtrack that’s far too repetitive and often seems overly-serious for a game where you’ll be poorly flying drones to repeatedly crash and burn in a pathetic manner.

Unfortunately, I can’t put it off any longer, I need to talk about the gameplay. Kamikaze Strike has players controlling the drones using the two analog sticks, but the manner of control here is extremely unintuitive to the point where even flying in a straight line is a monumental task. Your drone cannot be made to move straight forward, but neither can it just stay in place while you maneuver it into the position you want. Making things even more difficult, because you can never really fly in the direction the game’s first-person camera is facing, you’re always struggling to line up where you’re going with some spot beyond the edge of the screen, which really isn’t conducive to proper controls. I should note that Kamimkaze Strike features two different control modes, but both seemed equally bad to me.

As if this game’s terrible controls weren’t bad enough, it’s made worse by the fact that you will frequently encounter jamming machines that will interfere with your controls. As a result, what was an absurdly difficult task often seems impossible to control with any intentionality.

In the end, I like the idea of Kamikaze Strike, but the controls are just so absolutely terrible that there is no way I can recommend this game. Some players may find it interesting for its unique premise, but I feel like they’ll quickly find that the actual gameplay is so terrible they’ll soon get fed up with the game.

tl;dr – Kamikaze Strike is a Combat Flight Simulator where players pilot drones carrying explosive payloads, trying to crash them into targets. Unfortunately, the controls here are so absolutely terrible it results in the game being virtually unplayable. I absolutely cannot recommend this game.
