Review:

Gear.Club Unlimited 1 & 2 is a Compilation released in 2026 on Nintendo Switch, containing the two named Arcade-style Racing games, released separately on Nintendo Switch in 2017 and 2018.

I have separately reviewed these games. Here is what I thought of each of the games in this collection:

tl;dr Gear.Club Unlimited may look like a Simulation-style Racing game, but at its heart it’s an Arcade-style Racing game. This game has its fair share of issues, such as a frustrating interface and lack on true online multiplayer, but the core gameplay is enjoyable, and the low $15 price is enticing enough that Racing fans on a budget may want to give it a try.

tl;dr Gear.Club Unlimited 2 is an Arcade-style Racing game that improves on its predecessor in some ways, but is noticeably worse in others, with ugly graphics, bad load times, and still no actual online multiplayer. This is still an enjoyable Racing game, but it doesn’t have its predecessor’s benefit of being a budget title to make this worth considering over other far better games on Nintendo Switch. You might still want to get this when it gets a good sale, but it’s still disappointing how this game’s creators dropped the ball.

In short, both games appear outwardly somewhat like Simulation-style games, but play more like Arcade-style Racing games, and each one has their good and bad qualities, with the second game seeming less like a mobile port and improving some things like controls, but also somehow having worse graphics, and both games have a disappointing lack of online multiplayer.

So, let’s talk about value. This bundle sells for $35, while the individual games sell for a combined total of $40. It’s not a great discount, but it’s something… until you look at sale prices. On sale, these games regularly drop to $2 and $2.50, which makes this bundle’s launch sale price of $31.50 look not just absurdly high, but outright insulting.

Nintendo Switch has numerous better Racing games than these two, but they’re not outright bad games and you may still get some enjoyment out of them… but definitely don’t do it with this bundle. The standard price may offer a modest savings, but when the individual games go on sale for a few bucks each, this bundle looks like an absolute ripoff.

tl;dr – Gear.Club Unlimited 1 & 2 is a Compilation containing the two named games, both Arcade-style Racing games that look outwardly like Racing Simulation games. Both included games have their issues, but they’re not outright bad. However, when those two games individually go on sale for only a few bucks each, this bundle’s price tag is outright insulting. Do not buy this rip-off.
