Review:

Instant Family Fun Bundle, released on Nintendo Switch in 2026, is a Compilation of two different kinds of minigame collections, released separately on Nintendo Switch in 2020 and 2022.

I have separately reviewed these games. Here is what I thought of each of the games in this collection:

GameGenre# of PlayersScore
Instant Chef PartyParty Game1-4 Competitive (Local)D+
tl;drInstant Chef Party is a Party Game in the same style of Mario Party, but with a food theme. There are some elements this game gets right, but its motion control is hit or miss, there are only two game boards (both strictly linear), and this game makes multiple decisions that are sure to frustrate players. Even as a low-cost alternative to Mario Party, this isn’t worth getting – save your money and wait until you can buy a Mario Party game instead.
Instant Sports All-StarsSports (Various) / Party Game1-4 Competitive / Team Competitive (Local)C-
tl;drInstant Sports All-Stars is a Sports-themed Party Game with 27 Sports-themed minigames… sorta’. It’s a stretch to call a few of these Sports, and many of the games here are copies of other games in the bundle, making it far less varied than that number seems. What’s more, nearly all the minigames are pretty mediocre. The result is a Party Game you won’t want to bring to a party of even the most enthusiastic sports fans.

In short, I don’t think either of these games are very good. I suppose between the two games I think Instant Sports All-Stars is better, but that doesn’t mean I think it’s worth getting.

Okay, but perhaps this bundle might offer enough of a value to make up for the lack of quality? Well, separately these games cost roughly $40, while this bundle costs $35. It’s a discount, sure, but not much of one, and I still think this bundle is priced far more than it’s worth. The publisher seems to think so too – they regularly discount each of the individual games to prices between $2 and $4. meanwhile, as of this writing, this bundle hasn’t been discounted yet.

In the end, that makes Instant Family Fun Bundle a Compilation of two minigame collections, neither of them good, and both of them overpriced. And while the standard price is better than buying those games separately, that price is still absurdly bloated. In short, do not buy this.

tl;dr – Family Fun Bundle is a Compilation of two Party Games, Instant Chef Party and Instant Sports All-Stars. Both are minigame collections that are mediocre at best, and they’re absurdly overpriced, something this bundle doesn’t do a good job of addressing. In short, this bundle is not worth your time or money.

Grade: D+
